Once you receive your provisional offer, you will be required to provide us with supporting documents to help us verify the information in your application.
We’ll need the following documents:
Proof of Identity
The following documents are accepted:
- Passport
Document criteria:
- A clear, readable copy, scan or picture of the full page where the picture reflects
- MRZ code at the bottom of the page must be visible
- The document must not be expired
Proof of residence
The following documents are accepted:
- Bank document (bank statement, credit card statement, e-wallet account, bank confirmation letter)
- Utility or municipality bills or receipts that are in your name (for example; bills for water, electricity, gas or bills for rates and taxes)
- Investment, current account, vehicle finance, or home loan statements
- A copy of a lease/rental agreement signed by yourself and the landlord. We also accept a letter from your landlord or property administrator (including military or hostels)
- An official tax return, assessment, or statement from your country’s tax authority
- A telephone account for a physical landline
- Declaration letter from a family member (with supporting document above)
Document criteria:
- Your name and surname must be visible
- House number, street name, city, state, and postal code must be visible
- The document should be dated no older than 90 days from when you upload the document
- The logo or stamp of the institute must be visible
- The address on the document must match the address on your application
- Your document should be in a non-editable format such as PDF, JPEG, PNG or JPG
- Document must be no older than 90 days
Credit bureau report
To obtain a credit report, you will need to get in contact with your local credit reporting agency or bank. Obtaining a credit report differs in each country. We've listed some links below to help you. If any of these options are no longer available, please visit your local bank for guidance.

Document criteria:
- Your full name must be visible
- The name, logo, letterhead, or email address from the credit bureau / institute must be visible
- The document must not be older than 30 days from the date it is submitted in your application and the date must be visible
- The document/email/screenshot must be in a non-editable format such as PDF, JPEG, PNG, or JPG
- Confirm your full credit history, or that you do not have any credit history
Note the following:
- If the report shows late payments or delinquent accounts, please provide an explanation of each occurrence or instance.
- If the report is incorrect, please reach out to your Credit Bureau to get an updated or corrected version.
Proof of Income
The following documents are accepted:
- Latest 2 month salary slips
- 2 months' corresponding bank statement
Document criteria:
- Your full name must be visible on the salary slips and bank statements
- Company / employer name must be visible on salary slips
- The payment period, gross and net salary must all be visible on the salary slips
- Documents must be no older than 90 days
Quick tips before sending through your documents:
- If your documents are in your local language, supplying us with certified English copies will speed up the application process. In most cases, our verification team can translate your documents, but in an instance where we need a translation, we'll let you know. (please note that you may need to pay for certain certified translation services).
- If your documentation requires currency conversions, our expert team will complete this for you.
- Upload your documents in a non-editable, clearly visible format that includes your details like your full name, as well as the date that the document was issued.
