Tracking your payment status in the app
If you’ve made a payment via the Prodigy Finance Repayment App, you can easily track its progress right from your phone.
✅ Successful Payments
Once you initiate a Direct Debit payment, head back to your loans homepage.
You’ll see the payment marked as “Pending” your payment due amount will not decrease just yet, as the funds are still being processed.
What happens next:

Once Prodigy Finance receives your payment, we begin the allocation process.

At this stage, the payment will temporarily disappear from the app for 24–48 hours while it’s being applied to your loan.

Once allocation is complete, your payment due amount will reduce accordingly.

You’ll receive a confirmation email with your payment receipt once everything is finalised.
Note: Your outstanding balance only updates at the start of each new payment cycle to reflect all payments made during the previous cycle.
📄 Viewing Your Payment History
To check your payment activity:

Tap the “Transaction History” tab (the dollar icon next to the home icon at the bottom of the screen).

If you have more than one loan, use the dropdown menu at the top to:

View individual loan transactions, or
-
See a combined transaction history for all loans.

❌ Payment Failures
If your payment fails:

You’ll receive a notification explaining the reason.

The payment status will be updated in the app as “Failed.”
This transparency ensures you’re always informed and can take quick action if needed.
