If you’re applying from India, we’ll ask for your consent to fetch your Experian credit report directly as part of your application. This step is mandatory.
What is the process?
We use a simple and secure process that allows you to authorise access instantly.
- At the Credit report step in your application, click Begin
- You’ll be redirected to a secure form to enter your:
- First name
- Last name
- PAN number
- Mobile number
- Review the terms and provide consent for Prodigy Finance to be appointed as your authorised representative
- Click Request report
- Experian will send a One-Time PIN (OTP) to your mobile number
- Enter the OTP and click Verify
Once verified:
- We receive your credit information securely
- A copy of your full Experian credit report is sent to your email
- Our team begins reviewing your credit information
- You can return to your dashboard and continue your application
How do I revoke my Experian consent?
To revoke your consent, email info@prodigyfinance.com with the subject line:
“Revoke My Experian Consent on Prodigy Finance”
If you don’t receive a response within 7 working days, you may escalate the matter to our complaints or grievance officer. The grievance officer will respond within 5 working days of escalation.
What if there’s an error in my report?
Prodigy Finance only receives your credit report — we cannot change or correct it.
