Why do I need to verify my phone number?
We've introduced a one-time password (OTP) check as a security measure to help protect your account and personal information. It's a quick step that confirms it's really you completing the application.
How does the OTP verification work?
Once you reach the verification step in your application, we'll send a one-time password to your mobile number via WhatsApp or SMS. Enter the code into the task on your dashboard and click verify to continue.
I haven't received my OTP. What should I do?
If your OTP hasn't arrived, try the following:
- Check that you're connected to a stable network
- Confirm the mobile number saved on your account is correct
- Check both your WhatsApp and SMS messages, as delivery may vary by region

I've applied with Prodigy Finance before and didn't need to do this. Why now?
OTP verification is a new security feature we've rolled out across all applications. It wasn't part of the process previously, so if you've applied before, this will be new to you. It's a one-time step per application and takes just a moment to complete.
Can I use a different phone number for the OTP?
The OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked to your Prodigy Finance account. If you need to update your number, please contact us at info@prodigyfinance.com before completing this step.
The OTP code isn't working. What should I do?
OTP codes expire after a short time, so make sure you're entering the most recent one. If the code still isn't working, try requesting a new one. If the issue continues, send us a short video showing the problem and we'll assist you directly.
